The Rapid
Technology Multi-Volt-Download-Cable (MVDC)
is equivalent
in
functionality to the Altera ByteBlasterMV cable, but is much
longer and
offers a rugged RJ-45
connection at the target end which is easier
to orient and connect than a double row header connection. This cable
is fully
functional with Altera's QuartusII and MAX+PlusII Development Software.

Multi-Volt-Download-Cable (MVDC)
Rapid Technology will soon be releasing a USB to Serial Cable (U2S) that is
aimed at embedded applications. Both USB and RS-232 ports are 10 pin
(5x2, 0.100" spacing) headers, for embedded design. Contact Rapid
